Real Driving Emissions in Extended Driving Conditions

چکیده
The real driving emission (RDE) testing for certification of vehicles is performed in conditions that are well defined legislation. For emissions inventories and research, the influences some extended on an interesting issue. In present work, examples RDE results from two common passenger cars with gasoline diesel propulsion given. varying were “winter/summer”, “mild/aggressive”, “higher altitude/slop”. conditions: “winter”, “aggressive”, slope/altitude” generally require more energy, cause higher fuel consumption, therefore, CO2-emissions. condition “winter driving”, especially urban type operation, may longer phases not enough warmed-up exhaust aftertreatment consequently increased gaseous emissions. DPF eliminates nanoparticles (PN) independently conditions. Nevertheless, regeneration has influence CO2-normality trip. primary tolerance range can also be exceeded aggressive driving. elaborated confirm usefulness existing legal limits homologation tests.

Extended Driving Impairs Nocturnal Driving Performances
Though fatigue and sleepiness at the wheel are well-known risk factors for traffic accidents, many drivers combine extended driving and sleep deprivation. Fatigue-related accidents occur mainly at night but there is no experimental data available to determine if the duration of prior driving affects driving performance at night. Participants drove in 3 nocturnal driving sessions (3-5 am, 1-5 am...
متن کاملA Comparison of Light-duty Vehicle Emissions over Different Test Cycles and in Real Driving Conditions
The European Commission is examining test procedures to ensure that light-duty vehicle emissions are well controlled both in real use and over the legislative test cycle. At the same time, the UN Working Party on Pollution and Energy (GRPE) has developed a Worldwide harmonised Light vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) that is expected to be used for Type Approval in the EU in the future. To identify...
متن کاملReal-world emissions of gasoline passenger cars in Macao and their correlation with driving conditions
Using a portable emissions measurement system, 16 gasoline passenger cars were tested on a fixed route consisting of different types of roads in Macao and the data were normalized with the vehicle-specific power bin method. The normalized HC, CO and NOX emission levels of the seven passenger car samples with model year older than 2000 were 3.19 ± 5.04, 14.59 ± 22.88, 2.57 ± 2.12 g/km, respectiv...
متن کاملImpact Of Real-World Driving Characteristics On Vehicular Emissions
With increase in traffic volume and change in travel related characteristics, vehicular emissions and energy consumption have increased significantly since two decades in India. Current models are not capable of estimating vehicular emissions accurately due to inadequate representation of real-world driving. The focus of this paper is to understand the level of Indian Driving cycle (IDC) in rep...
متن کاملan investigation on vehicle’s fuel consumption and exhaust emissions in different driving conditions
in this paper, vehicle’s fuel consumption and exhaust emissions are investigated in different driving conditions based on driving segments clustering. driving data collection is performed using global positioning systems in real traffic conditions. the driving data is clustered into five groups using k-means clustering technique. vehicle’s fuel consumption and exhaust emissions (i.e. hc, nox a...
